The Toledo Municipal Court is seeking a part-time Court Navigator. Must be available to work up to 20 hours per week during court business hours, with a preference for afternoon availability. The starting salary for this position is $23.815 per hour.

 Referring parties to proper external resources for guidance

Applicants must be able to:

 Take initiative as a self-starter

The Court is now accepting applications for the position of part-time Court Security Bailiff.  This position is responsible for providing front door security, courtroom security and general building security at Toledo Municipal Court.  Responsibilities include screening all visitors and packages entering the Court, performing law enforcement duties associated with this position, as well as maintaining and managing security and order in the courtroom. 

Graduation from High School or GED required. Associates degree, or completion of a minimum 60 semester hours at an accredited college or university in criminal justice, law enforcement, sociology or related field preferred, but not required. Must be Ohio peace officer certified to include successful qualification of the OPOTA mandated firearms qualification course of fire, is required. One year verifiable experience (minimum 1,000 working hours) as a certified Peace Officer or military equivalency preferred. Two years full time experience working in a court, correctional, or law enforcement environment preferred. Potential candidates must pass a background check, psychological evaluation and medical evaluation. Full rate is $34.040 an hour.
