ADA Policy
In accordance with the requirements of Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 ("ADA"), the Toledo Municipal Court will not discriminate against qualified individuals with either physical or mental disabilities in its services, programs, or activities.
Building Regulations
Guns and other weapons (openly carried or concealed) are not permitted unless carried by law enforcement personnel in their official capacity. Contraband, hazardous objects, and items that may be used as or have the appearance of a weapon are also not permitted in the building.

Cell Phones
Cell phones must be turned off or put on silent while in the courtroom and in the jury assembly room. If an emergency arises, the juror must notify a court staff member. Video recording in the courthouse is strictly prohibited.

Exhibit Return
At the conclusion of a court case and after the 40-day appeal period has expired, exhibits may be returned to the party to whom they belong or released to the party’s attorney.
Interpreter Services
To ensure that all persons are given equal access to justice and that court proceedings function efficiently and effectively, the Toledo Municipal Court provides interpreting services to individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing, unable to speak, vision-impaired or have limited English proficiency. The court provides interpreting services for court users at no cost to the person in need.
Parking
Toledo Municipal Court is located at 555 N. Erie Street, Toledo, Ohio 43604. There are multiple pay lots in the downtown area. Jurors will need to pay for their own parking. The parking authority actively tickets on the streets around the courthouse.
Security
All court users and jurors are required to pass through security when entering Toledo Municipal Court. Weapons, including guns, knives, etc. are not permitted in the courthouse. All purses and bags will be X-rayed.
