Attorney registration information

The information an attorney provides when electronically filing with Toledo Municipal Court is placed on the computer system of the Toledo Municipal Court and is used to administer Toledo Municipal Court case processing.  An attorney's address and phone number also may be accessed by the Clerk's Office, in connection with the attorney's participation in cases, by other offices of the Toledo Municipal Court, and in connection with other matters pending before the Toledo Municipal Court. All information provided when electronically filing with the Toledo Municipal Court, unless specifically exempted by law, is a public record.

Agents

We sometimes contract with other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. For example, we may hire a company or individual to develop a computer program, help maintain our computer network, or process online payment transactions. These parties have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but may not use it for other purposes.

Protection of your personal information when paying fines, fees, and costs

We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input. We will reveal only the last five digits of your credit card number when confirming a transaction. However, we transmit the entire credit card number to the appropriate credit card company during order processing. We do not store your credit card numbers on our computers. In order to prevent unauthorized use of your credit card we suggest that you sign off when finished using a shared computer, and take care not to allow unauthorized access to your computer or your passwords.

Access to your information

The Toledo Municipal Court gives those who register online for electronic filing access to their own registration information for the purpose of viewing and, in certain cases, updating that information.
