Distracted Driving Safety Course
Distracted driving violations require a mandatory court appearance in Toledo Municipal Court. Traffic offenders who are charged with a distracted driving violation, or a specific traffic violation while distracted, may wish to take the Ohio Department of Public Safety distracted driving course. Taking this one-hour course may help you resolve your case, especially if you take it prior to your court date and bring proof of completion. It may also help you avoid a fine and points on your license.
In this course, you will learn what is distracted driving, who is a distracted driver, cell phone distractions, the risks and consequences of driving distracted, and avoiding distracted driving. It is not recommended to complete the course on a cell phone or tablet.
