Contract Mediator

Contract mediators are independent professionals who receive case referrals from the Toledo Municipal Court Help Center to help resolve disputes such as small claims, general civil matters, and landlord/tenant issues. Initial referrals will focus on rent escrow cases under Toledo Housing Court Local Rule 6. While they are not employees of the Court, contract mediators may use Help Center resources including conference rooms and will receive payment for the mediation services they provide.

We are currently accepting applications from qualified mediators who have completed the education and training requirements outlined in Sup. R. 16.23 of the Rules of Superintendence for the Courts of Ohio.
